PARTY REPORT: Happy 21st Birthday Laci! Thanks for celebrating it with everbody at The Wharf! What a celebration...a lot of old friends showed up that we haven't seen in awhile...Jeaux and his wife got it started off with their friends and what a crazy bunch...Matt and his crew just saw Journey in concert last week so we had to play them a couple of Journey tunes...Derek was making some great requests from The Eagles to Wayne Toups...John started tearing up the dance floor early...along with Mike Ray & Kelly they were all showing us some great dance moves! Joey was glad to hear I got his birthday web page...he and Tammy had to dance to one of his favorite tunes "Back Side Of Thirty" by John Conlee...Natalie & Amy gave us a show on the subwoofer while Cynthia took pictures of their performance...Todd stopped in with Chris & Tim...Mike T stopped in to show us some of his crazy moves...Courtney & Megan dedicated "No Parking On The Dance Floor" by Midnight Star to Paul but it took them most of the song to get him on the dance floor! Danielle came in just in time to hear her standard "Tupelo Honey" request...David & Edie always are fun to watch when they dance to "Low"...Troy is just fun to watch. Tommy got to hear some of his favorite tunes like "Black Betty" by Ram Jam...I didn't catch their names but they called themselves "The Married Girls" and ask me to dedicate "U Can't Touch This" by MC Hammer to all the guys that were trying to...well..."touch this" "The Married Girls" were a blast and I hope we see them back again! Jeff (Buttman) is another one that's fun to watch when he dances...there's a certain "style" to his moves that the camera doesn't quite capture! Under the long time no see category...Willard stopped in with his wife but since she's expecting and there were no places to sit they only stayed a short time but still good to see him. It was a fun night and we're doing it again tonight so hope to see you there at The Wharf!
